Who are you… really?
What do you love to do?
What are you passionate about?
Do you know, or are you still figuring it out?
Are you doing it, or are you making excuses?
Are you pursuing those things that you love?
Time is of the essence…
Reading Slash’s 2007 autobiography indicates that he finally figured it out for himself despite his success in Guns N’ Roses years earlier.
My definition of success is being who you really are by doing what you love to do.
Those who achieve this are the real “rock stars” in life.
“Being a rock star is the intersection of who you are and who you want to be.” ~ Slash
I’ll expand on that and say that to be a “rock star” means to “be the best at what you do the best” – whatever that is.
It’s making a decision to get in the game.
It’s the pursuit of progress, more than the outcomes, that’s most important.
