working out

I think, for a lot of us, working out or exercising and embarking on "spiritual" pursuits are procrastinated similarly. It usually goes something like this: 1) you know you ought to, 2) you realize it's good for you, 3) you often don't feel like it, 4) but when you do, you're always glad that you did.

  1. I think this applies to my personal development process as well. Sometimes I get to the point where I feel like, “Agh, I just can’t THINK anymore!” It’s exhausting. But a good, accomplished kind of exhausting- like after a strenuous workout. Personal Development: It’s like a stairmaster, for your brain.

  2. “Personal Development: It’s like a stairmaster, for your brain.”

    Nice analogy. I like that!
