I’ve always found it incredibly interesting/borderline sad, how so many people disregard factual data, research, and scientific findings simply because they “don’t believe” the information being presented. Despite supporting evidence and scrutiny validating facts from reputable and reliable sources, many choose to chuck it anyway. They possess what I call an audacity of certainty. Why?

The short answer is fear. Many do not want/are unwilling to have long-held beliefs, preferences, perceptions, prejudices, and passed-down-world-views challenged or usurped because of the uncertainty and fear that this will force them to face. Being “right” is an alluring elixur that a lot of people refuse to, or are incapable of giving up. Instead, they choose to cling to cognitive biases and logical fallacies rather than demonstrate critical thinking. If you’re one of these folks, keep reading more of my posts, watch my videos, listen to my radio show and podcasts because maybe, just maybe, a shiFt in your thinking is just on the horizon. How illogical is that…?

Stay tuned-in…
