Forty-One (41)

It’s hard to fake sincerity and genuineness of soul. When people really love something, or love to do something, it shows. It’s unmistakable. You can feel it and you can see it. It’s infectious as well as inspiring.

I love watching people who love doing what they’re doing. I love soaking in their inspiration and their passion. It makes me want to be better at what I do. It makes me want to stay hungry and strive to achieve more myself. It reminds me to be grateful for the gifts I’ve been given, and for the things I do well. But even more important, it continually makes me want to encourage others to be the best at what they do the best. To inspire others to aspire to their greatness. To push people past their comfort zones so they can accomplish all they desire, and contribute at the highest levels.

None of this is easy; but it sure as hell is possible. And that’s a lifestyle and a life’s work worth living. And that’s what this life is all about…

Three (3)

The Need to Lead

To be truly effective, contemplate and commit to having the audacity to contribute to others in selfless ways. Ways that are way outside of your personal comfort zone, despite any or all uncertainty. Challenge what I call the nobody from nowhere phenomenon by consistently producing high-levels of value for those who already do, or those who may look to you in the future, for direction and leadership.

Remember: we are all somebody, to someone, somewhere… @tomleu

Whether it’s your kids, co-workers, or complete strangers, the need to lead in positive directions is infectious, and never been in higher demand than it is right NOW.

Dare You To Move

I get it.

You get down. You feel out sometimes. You get stuck in ruts… don’t we all right?

But this doesn’t have to mean you’re down and out all the time.

Winners in the game of life aren’t victims; always blaming. Winners are victors; always beginning again. Winners exchange excuses with extra effort and get after it.

With this post, this site, and this life’s work, my life’s work… I’m daring you to move.

I’m daring you to apply all the common sense you claim.

I’m daring you to reach higher levels of performance and acheive whatever it is you aspire to achieve.

the shiFt:

Moving requires taking initiative and being proactive.

It requires being honest with yourself first and foremost. Without this honesty, nothing else matters.

It’s about embracing effective intrapersonal communication skills and understanding your unique psychology.

It’s then about executing effective interpersonal communication skills with everyone you interact with.

This is hard to do. This is often uncomfortable.

Winners willingly choose to live outside of their comfort zones much of the time.

“Everything you want is just outside your comfort zone.” ~ Robert Allan

Winners recognize that this is the place where true growth occurs.

We don’t grow when we’re comfortable. We grow when our pain is sufficient enough to WANT to make necessary changes.

“The tension is here | Between who you are and who you could be | Between how it is and how it should be” ~ Switchfoot

So, I dare you to move… outside of your comfort zone…

And, I dare you to move… inside the vantage point where “seeing things” clearly begins…

It’s the tag line. It’s also the call to action.

Your move…
