The final Communichology™ concept, and the third of the three “Gets” requires much action over apprehension.
#3. Get after it.
Go APPLY all that you know. That’s code to go out and fucking do something. Don’t just talk about it. Too many people are blow hards who hardly demonstrate all that they supposedly know. Drives me nuts. It’s everywhere, and it’s exhausting.
There’s nothing more credibility-reducing than NOT practicing what you preach. If I don’t see evidence of your proclaimed knowledge, then I definitely don’t want you telling me about it. And vice-versa.
There’s a time to speak up, and then there’s the time to put up.
Know the difference and make a move.
